The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) proposes that every accredited institution should establish an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) as a post-accreditation quality sustenance measure. Quality enhancement is a continuous process, the IQAC will become a part of the institution’s system and we are working work towards realization of the goals of quality enhancement and sustenance. To put this into practice, we have established an IQAC cell in our institution.
Objective
1.To develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the institution.
2. To establish procedures and modalities to collect data and information on various aspects of institutional functioning and the individuals.

4. To promote measures for institutional functioning towards quality enhancement through internalization of quality culture and institutionalization of best practices.
5. To improve the level of clarity and focus in institutional functioning towards quality.

7. To provide a sound basis for decision making to improve institutional functioning.
8. To build internal communication.
9. To identify the strengths and weaknesses both in the process and outcome of teaching and learning.
10. To improve healthy practices and overcome weaknesses.
11. To evolve a feedback mechanism and use it for reforms and development.
12. To create intellectual atmosphere for the benefit of the educational system at grass roots.
13. To prepare action plans for academic sessions.
14. To bring overall efficiency in all the programs organized by the college.
Strategies
1. Build an organized methodology of documentation and internal communication.
2. Arrangement for feedback response from students on quality-related institutional processes through the class teachers.
3. Development and application of quality benchmarks/parameters for various academic activities.
4. Maintaining of institutional database through MIS for the purpose of enhancing the institutional quality.
5. Decision-making to improve institutional functioning.
Functions
1. Facilitating the creation of a learner-centric environment conducive to quality education and faculty maturation to adopt the required knowledge and technology for participatory teaching and learning process.
2. Organizing of inter and intra institutional workshops, seminars on quality related themes and promotion of quality circles.
3. Documenting of the various programmes/activities leading to quality improvement.
4. Acting as a nodal agency of the Institution for coordinating quality-related activities, including adoption and dissemination of best practices.
5. Preparing of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) as per guidelines and parameters of NAAC, to be submitted to NAAC. Ensuring timely, efficient and progressive performance of academic and non academic activities.
6. Sharing of research findings and networking with other institutions in India and abroad.
7. Optimizing and integration of modern methods of teaching and learning.
8. The credibility of evaluation procedures.
9. Ensuring the adequacy, maintenance and proper allocation of support structure such as smart class projectors,laptops etc..
