• To create awareness among the NSS Volunteers about social service to the society.

    To prepare the NSS Voluntees to be ready to do any service at any time.

    To create awareness among the local people about the various diseases and its preventive measures, plastic free society, blood donation, cleanliness of their dwelling places (drainage, toilets, disposal of waste etc.).

    ACTIVITIES 2017-2018

              "National Deworming Day" was celebrated on 10.08.2017. On that day 1000 deworming tablets were distributed to the students.

             Breast feeding awareness programme was conducted on 16.08.2017. Dr. Chithra, Asaripallam Medical College hospital has given a talk on "Breast feeding".

             Three days Yoga training was conducted from 20.09.2017 to 22.09.2017 to the NSS Volunteers.

             "A Walkathan Rally" was conducted on 20.012018. The rally was flagged off by Dr. FarithaBanu, PA to collector. A meeting was held at our college Prof. Dr. SwarnaLathaRaju spoke about sexual harassment of women Act and Eve teasing Act.

             Mrs. Uma spoke about protection of women from domestic Violence Act and the Dowry prohibition Act. Vegetable carving demonstration training was given to the NSS volunteers.

             A special NSS camp was conducted from 28.02.2018 to 06.03.2018 at the village of Kallukoottam which included various social activities like Eye donation awareness, Yoga for holistic health, SUPW demonstration and practices, clean India rally, AIDs awareness, Scout and guides training and cleaning the camp site.
