MID-DAY MEALS

The midday meal scheme is the popular name for school meal programme in India and started in the 1960's. It involves provision of lunch free of working days.


As a woman, every student should know her fundamental rights, laws relating to women, problems faced by women and solutions to the problems. With this in mind our students are taught syllabus relating to women studies.


  • OBJECTIVES

  • protecting children from class room hunger, increasing college enrollment and attendance, improved socialization among children belonging to all castes, addressing malnutrition and social empowerment through provision of employment to women.

Chandral, Department of Zoology is in charge of this scheme.By the grace of God and by the generous contribution of the teaching faculty of our college this scheme is functioning well.25 poor and needy students and four sweepers of our college are benefited by getting free meals on every working day.
