Counselling Cell acts as a facilitator for the overall development of students. On June 23, 2023, the counselling cell organized an orientation program for the freshers. Dr. Mary Christy, Retired Associate Professor of Botany, Women's Christian college, Nagercoil gave a talk on how to succeed in life. On July 5, 2023, a counselling program for all the first year students on the topic "Attitude Determines Life" was conducted by Dr. D. Arun Gladwin from Vantage Academy. On January 5, 2024, a motivational programme for the Arts students on "Life Skill Education for Students" was organized. Mr. Sathish Kumar, of Wisdom Foundation served as the chief guest. On March 1, 2024 a counselling programme for all the second year students was conducted. Mr. Sathish Kumar of Wisdom Foundation spoke about life skill development.

The objective of the Personality Development and Counselling Cell is to develop the personality of the students and to help the students when they are under stress in any form. The holistic development of the students is taken care of by the mentors in each department, who maintain the records of their wards and monitor them. An Orientation program was conducted for the freshers on 24.09.22 with Dr. Reni from English department and Dr.Beula of Tamil department as the resource persons. Regular counselling sessions were organised for the U.G. students with counselors like Mrs. Roshini and Mrs.Leela John from campus crusade and Miss Ziana from Psychotherapy and counselling from Anugraha Institute, Dindugal. The co-ordinator of the counseling cell Dr. T.N Suseela and the staff advisors give regular counselling to the students. A special program by Dr. Rajesh Duthie was organised for the final year U.G. students. A personality development program for the outgoing P.G. students was also arranged.
