Alumnae Association

The Alumnae Association of our college, originally conceived as a dues-paying organization, has grown and prospered into a vital organization, which now boasts with worldwide membership and is working in close partnership with the college to provide services to support the parent organization′s goals, and to strengthen the ties between the global alumnae community and the parent organization. It comprises of all graduates of the college and former students who have completed at least one year of undergraduate study. It aims to keep alive the memories of the alma-mater in the hearts of alumnae and remind them of its ideals and values wherever they live all over the world. It organizes annual get together which provides a forum to form new friendships and business relationships with people of similar background, publish newsletters, and raise funds for the betterment of the alma- mater. The following are the objectives of this association:


  • To pass on the legacy of this institution which was founded on a noble vision.

  • To keep in touch with the WCCians who serve in various capacities in India and abroad.

  • To enrich alma mater with the support of the alumnae.

  • Every student who graduates from WCC is expected to become a member of the Alumnae Association and offer her services to her alma mater.


    Report for the year 2015-16

        The alumnae association of our college joins hands with the alma mater to provide services in order to support the parent organization′s goals, and strengthen the ties between the global alumnae community and the parent organization. This association organizes annual get together which provides a forum to form new friendships and business relationships with people of similar background, publish newsletters, and raise funds for the betterment of the Alma mater.

        Renovation work of the monumental building standing as a witness to the dedication of the pioneer missionaries and portraying their thirst to impart education in the southern extreme of our nation was initiated with the prayers and blessings of our Former Moderator of CSI and Bishop in Kanyakumari Diocese Rt. Rev. Dr. G. Devakadasham on 8th May 2015.

        The annual get together for the academic year 2015-2016 was conducted in the forenoon of 3-12-2015 at the Moderator Gnanadhason hall of our college and our alumnae Mrs. Jossi Sukumaran was the chief guest. She gave an interesting lecture on how to take care of aged and differently abled persons happily and reduced their stress. Thirteenth newsletter was also released. Nearly 200 alumnae from different parts of India attended the get together. It was really a joyful and blessed occasion.

         The candle lighting service beseeching God′s guidance and blessing for the outgoing students will be conducted on 18-04-2016.
